A Sense of Place
[Flash 10 is required to watch video]

A video of some of the dancing at the Twelfth Night party.  In it, you can see me go through confusion, fits of laughing, disorientation, and several “ah ha!” moments where I actually knew what I was doing.  Also, I frequently took a couple quick jogging steps to keep up, as most of the people on the dance floor had legs that were quite a bit longer than mine.  Altogether though, it was a lot of fun.

This weekend, we had the pleasure of attending a Twelfth Night party hosted by the 1st Ulster Militia at the Elmendorph Inn in Red Hook.  It is always nice to have an excuse to dress up historically, especially when it involves spending time with a group of really nice people (who can cook!), and historic music & dance.  Thank you to the 1st Ulster Militia for inviting us!
